I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Discuss, contribute and share.

We offer our body as a living sacrifice to God in order to test and approve what God's will is for us. God's will is always perfect, pleasing to God and good for us. The end result will be perfect and over flowing with joy and peace of God. In order to experience over flowing with joy and peace of God we need to have faith in God and renew our minds in the Word of God. Amen.

The Word of God is food for our mind and soul. There are few ways to renew our minds in the Word of God. The 1st is to ponder and reflect on the Word of God as seeing and hearing the words without any thinking and retention is like a leaking bucket that holds nothing in the end. One way is to expose yourself to the same verses or passages many times until you are familiar and it stays in front of your mind and thoughts and ready to be whipped out at any time.

The 2nd method is to make a mental picture or impression of the Word of God with you in it. For example imagining Jesus talking to you kindly and lovingly and reaffirming you of God promises. The 3rd method is to teach or professing to others about the Word of God that you like or impacted you the most.
