We are the vessel of God’s miracles on earth. Miracles in Greek is Teres as mentioned in John: 4. 48. Jesus therefore said unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will in no wise believe. Are you willing to let God turn your live for God’s glory?
Although we are vessels of miracles through Christ Jesus, however not all of us can exercise being vessels of miracles. But the happening of miracles like those recorded in the Holy Bible is in accordance with God’s knowledge and sovereignity and not by following our wishes and prayers. Today God is making use of miracles especially in the poor, war thorn and non Christian countries to bring and realign people back to God as mentioned in Hebrews: 2. 3. how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard; 4. God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders, and by manifold powers, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will.
To become a vessel of miracles, we need to believe in God’s miracles and that God’s miracles will continue to happen in our lives as believers and in according to His will and purpose. Can you believe that Moses parted the Red Sea? Can you believe that Jonah lived in the belly of a big whale. There are 3 types of believers I.e. non believers, believers and fused to believe. The type of believers will determine the signs or none that will accompany us in our lives as seen in the recollection of Apostles in Mark: 16. 17. And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; 18. they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. The meaning of things or good signs in Greek is Semeion.
You need to believe that it is possible that God’s miracles can happen. Provided you believe that you are God’s children and God is with you as in John: 14. 12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father. Mark: 16. 20. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
Another requirement is believing in that Jesus is the son of God and believing that Christ Jesus has return to His Father and He has delivered us the power of the Holy Spirit to work miracles as seen in Acts: 2. 32. This Jesus did God raise up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33. Being therefore by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye see and hear. Great power in Greek is Dunamis as mentioned in Matthew: 11. 20. Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not. Matthew: 14. 2. and said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore do these powers work in him.
We pray to become God’s vessel of miracles. With our eyes of believer, we can see hope. We pray that God’s love and mercies fills our lives. So that we can speak of God’s good news and spread the gospel to the world as in Matthew: 28. 19. Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
