Discouragements and trials are good to us as stated in Hebrews: 12. 10. For they indeed for a few days chastened [us] as seemed good to them; but he for [our] profit, that [we] may be partakers of his holiness.
When you are discouraged instead of looking to the Lord, instead we responded or reacted to it. As a result, we become the result or product of our discouragements. Because when we react and response to discouragements we become to the like of that discouragement. And the discouragement and the heat of trial will drain you of your energy, spirit and sanity. Let us not be discouraged because of bitterness, not because of revenge, but only because of the Love of God. Count it all joy when we are tested.
Discouragement are always painful. We need to look to Jesus to lift up the weight of discouragements. Sometimes, we cannot get out because our eyes is fixed on the person that discourage us. God did not say lay aside the heavy weight, but look to Jesus when discouraged add shown in Hebrews: 12. 11. All chastening seemeth for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yieldeth peaceable fruit unto them that have been exercised thereby, [even the fruit] of righteousness. However, in God’s trial and joy are always on the same line. The other word in the Bible for discouragement is discipline or chastening. God disciplines us because He wants us to yield fruits of joy and peace because testing of faith produces fruits of joy. God wants to train us and we should trive to over train all the time. Good leaders are people who have gone through hardship and difficult times, else they will not know how to overcome difficulties when at the helm of leadership.
Run with endurance because endurance is the most important thing in our race of our life. If we do not endure, we will not change or be trained. This race is the race of faith in God that needs to be finished and we need endurance to run this race with God, because this race is not dependant on others as depicted in Revelation: 3. 10. Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that [hour] which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Revelation: 3. 11. I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown. Run to the end you will be saved according to Matthew: 24. 13. But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. 14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come. For the joy of the Lord is greater in the end than in the beginning.
Everyday we need to fight a good fight you good and faithful servant. So that we finished the race and kept our faith. 2 Timothy: 4. 7. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith: Let’s renew the joy of the Lord in us. Let the joy of the Lord be our strength. Let the wine of the Lord fill us than the wine of man.
